Five Reasons Your Business Needs An Active Website!

Is Your Website Staying As Active As It Should Be?

We all know how important is is to stay active.  The more we stay active, the better we feel and the healthier we become.  In the world of the internet, there is a similar correlation.   Websites that remain active, in a sense, stay healthier.  What is an active website?  It's a website that evolves or changes on a consistent basis.  Here are five reasons you should want to keep your website active.

1.  Page Ranking - In addition to several other variables, for Google and other Search Engines, websites that add original, useful content on a regular basis are rewarded with higher page ranking than those that do not.  The higher your website's page ranking the more likely it is for customers to find your business when they are searching for the products or services you offer.

2. Products or Services Change - Depending on the business you are in, the products or services you offer are going to change over time.  Customers depend on your website to make buying decisions.  The more accurate your website reflects your actual current line of products and services, the greater your customer satisfaction and ability to sell those products and services will be.

3.  People Change - Many companies, especially service businesses, include photos and contact information for many of their front line employees who you may need to contact.  In today's work force those roles are continually changing and employees change jobs more often than in the past.  It's critical to keep website employee contact information current, to prevent customer confusion and frustration.

4.  Sales and Promotions - In addition to Social Media advertising and print ads, your website should be the hub for any new promotions, sales, discounts, products and services you want to bring to the forefront of your advertising.  Special landing pages can be added to your website specifically promoting new products, services and specials.  Pop Ups can also bring sales and discounts to the attention of anyone browsing your website.  New contact forms can be added to enter customers into contests, to sign them up for newsletters and for them to be added to mailing, email and text messaging lists.  An events page is a great way for restaurants and retail businesses to advertise daily or weekly specials and upcoming events.

5.  Blogs and Business Insights - Customers and Clients appreciate your views and the views and perspectives of other members of your business and industry.  The internal and external landscape of most businesses is continually changing.  Your customers and potential customers will benefit from what you and other experts in your field of business have to say.  Keeping them informed on a regular basis in a blog or Business Insights page of your website, can make a difference in their decisions to use your products or services.

At Community Advertising LLC, we help our clients keep their websites active.  We know how important it is for their success.  We know that by keeping your website active and up-to-date, you'll benefit and so will your customers.  Call us today at 614-649-3188 to discuss how we can help your small business website stay active!

Every business is unique. Take advantage of the unique qualities of your business and how those qualities benefit your customers, to begin a successful Social Media Ad Campaign. One way that your small business benefits your customers is it's close proximity to them or if you provide a service in their home, your ability to travel to them. Whether your business is in a small town or a big city, in a suburb or in the country, you can effectively target the area you want to reach using Facebook's geographic targeting features. If your business has a fixed location that your customers must travel to, you'll want to target your city or town of course and the towns or cities that surround your town. Your Facebook ad will only reach those people who live in the targeted locations you specify. That area might be much larger if you travel to your customers' homes, providing a service such as painting or lawncare. When choosing the locations you want to target, you have the option of choosing a radius surrounding those locations. You can select any number between 10 to 50 miles. If you use the radius option, keep in mind that you will likely gain followers or generate interest or leads from people living in other nearby communities, not just the specific locations you have chosen . If you don't want to go outside of a selected town, you have the option of choosing Facebook members who only live within that specific town or city. Scroll upwards in the dropdown box to choose that option. Keep these tips in mind as you plan and implement your next Facebook Ad Campaign, or contact Community Advertising to provide that service for you. We'll bring life to your Facebook page, engage your customers and help you build sales.

If you are a small business owner, whether your business is an established business or a new one, it's helpful to recognize and remember that you are doing your very best. You probably work very long hours, managing all aspects of your business, just as I do. It's also important to realize that when it comes to the realm of digital advertising and promotion, that it's a constantly changing landscape. Keeping on top of the latest innovations in Social Media and Digital Marketing is a continual challenge even for a digital marketing agency, let alone for the local plumber, baker or restaurant owner. The question then is how can the average business owner take advantage of the latest improvements and innovations, or whether those new strategies are even right for their business? Community Advertising LLC is committed to the success of all of our clients. We continually study the latest trends in digital marketing, so we can keep our Clients informed of their options. We know that what may work for one type of business, may not be the best digital marketing strategy for another type of business. We want to see every business we work with succeed, because we see their success as ours. As such, when you meet with us, we'll spend a lot of time finding out as much about your business as possible. We'll want to know what your key issues, problems and concerns are so we can determine whether we can offer you the solutions you'll need to overcome those challenges to grow your business. At the end of our meeting, if we can make a positive difference for your business, we'll share the ways we can help, simply explaining how we can help you address each problem. That way you'll know your options, so you can decide the next steps. If we determine we're not able to provide you the best possible solutions to your needs, we'll tell you that too, and suggest who might be able to help. Community Advertising LLC is committed to the success of all of our clients. If you'd like to schedule a meeting, give us a call or message us today!
